Gear – 2017

  • Pier side Electronics – Power Werx power supply, power distribution hub, powered USB hub, headless Windows Professional PC, CP4
  • UPS – Will keep things running for 10 minutes or so… hopefully enough time to fix somebody having tripped over a cord
  • Wire routing and also showing the Feather Touch PosiDrive focus motor

  • Wire routing – Dew Buster with temp probe, second powered USB hub, second power distribution hub, Lynx Focus Boss controller. Only two wires are routed through the mount – power and USB feed (plus the DEC control cable)
  • Feather Touch 3545 focuser, then the parts are all AP off-the-shelf (A3523-A) connects to QSI 2.156″ Faceplate and to A2690 18.3mm spacer. Front end of spacer connects to QUADTCC which connects to the drawtube endcap (S35RFAA) (but don’t quote me on that!)
  • QSI690-WG8 – Loaded with Astrodon Filters narrow band are not 3nm but 5. Lodestar V1 guidecam.
